Riots are really bad if there is no real purpose. Like if it’s a social injustice, it seems well enough to protest and riot over. But a hockey game, not so bad; it’s not worth being imprisoned for. Wish we rioted for aboriginal rights than hockey, they really need to change a few things.
Well, Canada has had some strong First Nations demonstrations, such as the last few years at Caledonia, before that the Mohawks in Quebec, in BC in the 1990s at Gustafsen Lake… So maybe an issue is that nothing much productive comes of these riots… Thanks for commenting.
